Our solid cast bronze stuffing box series offers a notched packing nut and check nut. Tuning the shaft packing in restricted areas is now easy. Spartan stuffing box wrenches are custom fitted to our stuffing boxes. A simple ball peen hammer and screw driver are can also be used to break the check nut loose for adjustment in a pinch.
